Artist's statement

Fragmented memory, autobiography and identity are explored within Hiltons practice utilising reassembly, appropriation and repetition.

Identities are constructed, hidden, distorted and erased. Fictions and reality blurred creating new interpretations and temporary interventions, actualisation giving value to a fiction or reality, bringing attention to the unreliability of memory.
